What it is
The Jungle Experience is widely treated as the official Full Moon pre-party. It takes place up in the hills behind Ban Tai, with stages built into the jungle, heavy psytrance and progressive line-ups, UV decor everywhere and a crowd that skews towards people who came specifically for the music.

- Wear closed shoes — it's uneven jungle terrain in the dark.
- Bring cash for bars inside; card payment is unreliable.
- Pace the cycle: many people do Jungle Experience then the full moon, back to back. Sleep beforehand.

How much are tickets?
Roughly 1,000–1,200 THB. Buy from agents around the island, at hostels, or on the night at the entrance. Price includes transport from some pickup points.
How do I get there?
It's up a jungle track inland from Ban Tai. Most people take a shared songthaew/taxi; some ticket packages include transport. Don't attempt the hill on a scooter at night if you've been drinking.
